Fueled by her passion, Corina became a master at balancing between a successful career and family. Corina’s first transaction of her commercial real estate career was valued at $1.5 million, which she saw as a divine opportunity that she was on the right path. Since that pivotal event, she embarked on a successful real estate venture piquing her interest in real estate with a disposition sales volume of over $91 million in closed transactions in Texas. Her credentialing includes licensing by the Texas Real Estate Commission and a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).
However, obtaining her Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation, one of the highest distinctions in the commercial real estate sector, is one of her proudest accomplishments. Corina joined a Houston firm in early 2019, after a successful merger and acquisition of her own RE/MAX and Motto Mortgage franchise. She brought it all to bear as she managed a private equity multi-million dollar portfolio of commercial assets, which includes several hundred thousand square feet of professional office space in Texas. She oversaw and managed all operations of an extensive commercial portfolio as well as construction projects within the her own portfolio. Her extensive experience in construction management, as well as being bilingual, enables her to effectively manage large to small scale projects.
From a small border town to the leader of her portfolio, Corina is not only driving her entities forward, but paving the way for other emerging leaders in this highly competitive industry.
Corina has worked in the real estate and construction industry for over 18 years, with experience in land development, retail and office leasing, property and asset management, investment sales, construction project management, and real estate investments.
In addition to real estate and construction, Corina has vast experience as a grant writer.
Early on, she joined a governmental and urban planning consulting firm as a Governmental Planner and Grant Administrator. This is where she became intimately familiar with zoning, urban planning, and other developmental approval processes for master-planned developments as well as representing Economic Development Corporations, Developers, and Landlords.
Due to her extensive experience, she has been able to oversee the underwriting, planning, and construction of complex development projects.
Now, she brings all her expertise and experience to the fore, taking charge of her own single family portfolio as an entrepreneur.
With her multifaceted approach and visionary leadership, she is set to leave an indelible mark on all who encounter her leadership.
Simultaneously, she adeptly navigates the commercial construction sphere as President of Empresa Construction Group, LLC and Empresa Electrical Contractors.
